I started Here & There in 2020 to write about outdoor and travel culture, with a mix of personal experiences, tech and business insights, and plain curiosity.

I’m not sure how to describe H&T as other than a potpourri of topics that I find compelling. That usually means something related to outdoor and travel culture, but that might range from the “running drama of the week” to “the complex dilemma of hunting predators in the American west”.

It’s very much a reflection of how my brain works. I’m not really here to do anything else other than write about things that I find compelling, and hopefully, you do as well.

I currently work at AllTrails on brand editorial, which is why you’ll sometimes see data points supporting my posts that you wouldn’t normally consider “publicly accessible” 😁.
